Community Health Library -- Free & Open to the Public Every Day
North Valley Hospital welcomes patients, families, and our communities to our Community Health Library.
Walk In With Questions ..... Walk Out With Confidence
When you need information about your health and medical concerns, we're here to help. The NVH Community Library is designed with members of the general public in mind. Our "user-friendly" approach makes it simple for you to find information that will help you understand medical conditions, learn about healthy lifestyle habits and make more informed health care decisions.
We offer....
- Over 500 books on health-related topics available for 14-day checkout.
- Online access for health-related searches.
- Friendly, confidential hands-on help.
- Child and adult fictional reading and magazines.
- Relaxation tapes, CD music, DVD and VHS movies for in-hospital use.
- Complementary therapies collection.
The library is open 24/7. Library volunteers are available to help you Monday thru Thursday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Tuesday 5 - 8 p.m.; or by appointment. Call (406) 863-3669 for more information. You can also send an email to library@nvhosp.org.
