North Valley Hospital Foundation Receives
Federal Monies through Senator Conrad Burns
North Valley Hospital Foundation was notified on November 22 that they will receive $300,000 through federal appropriation thanks to Senator Conrad Burns’ efforts.
“The monies will be used to purchase a digital radiology/fluoroscopy system for North Valley Hospital’s replacement facility,” stated Carol Blake, Foundation Executive Director. “We are thrilled that this enables us to purchase a state-of-the-art system that enhances diagnostic capabilities and reduces x-ray exposure time for patients. We are very grateful to Senator Burns for his support and interest in making our new facility as successful as possible,” Blake added.
“Improving the infrastructure in our rural hospitals is a critical component of modernized health care,” said Burns. “With the often long distances we face in Montana, it is imperative to have top-notch facilities within easy reach of Montanans, and North Valley Hospital is a prime example.”
North Valley Hospital Foundation is in the quiet, pre-public phase of a $6.3 million Capital Campaign for a new North Valley Hospital. A New Century – A New Way of Healthcare has already received gifts of $2.1 million. For more information or to make a gift, please call for NVH Foundation at 863-3630.
