Contributors will receive increasing opportunities for involvement and recognition as they progress through accumulative giving levels during their lifetime. The donor lists are computer generated and can be easily updated to correct recognition information or to recognize additional gifts.
It’s easy to give to North Valley Hospital Foundation. Simply decide how you want your gift to be used and the amount you wish to give. You can leave a legacy which honors the memory of loved ones, supports vital health programs and gives lasting support to your community.
Over the years, private contributions have enabled North Valley Hospital to grow into a dynamic community healthcare provider. The Foundation secures crucial funding that helps support the delivery of excellent care and services to a growing number of patients and families. It would be difficult to find a patient care area in North Valley Hospital that has not benefitted from donated funds.
 Donor Wall
Gifts of $1,000 or more will have donor’s name engraved on our prominent recognition wall located in the mall corridor near the Meditation Room. The wall is updated semi-annually. As you give over time your donor status changes. We value long term relationships with our donors, and we recognize you for all your gifts over that time. For example, if you donate $500 this year and $500 again next year, your total contribution to the Foundation will be $1,000. You will be recognized at that time as an Encourager. Your donor status continues to grow along with the total value of your gifts. The entire amount of a Pledge, while paying installments over three to five years, is recognized the year you make your first payment.
- Visionaries: $500,000+
- Believers: $100,000-$499,999
- Healers: $25,000-$99,999
- Nurturers: $10,000-$24,999
- Sustainers: $5,000-$9,999
- Encouragers: $1,000-$4,999
Pavers
Located just outside the main hospital entrance, pavers are lasting memorials and honorariums. Pavers may be purchased and inscribed with donors’ names, a business name or as a lasting tribute or memorial of a loved one. Pavers are located on walls outside the main entrance. They are available in the following sizes:
$100: 6x6 with three lines of nine characters each
$500: 6x12 with three lines of eighteen characters each
$750: 12x12 with five lines of eighteen characters each
Landscaping
When designing NVH’s new hospital, extra attention was spent on the healing abilities of the environment that surrounded the hospital. Views of mountains, walking paths, healing gardens and more were made available to provide our patients and visitors with an exceptional experience. We accept donor donations for trees and park benches for our walking path in the following amounts:
$250 for a tree
$2,000 for a park bench
Memorials and Honorariums
Tribute gifts are made in memory of a loved one as a lasting memorial. A meaningful remembrance at a time of loss and sadness offers hope for the future. Individuals often include a note in obituary announcements directing contributions to North Valley Hospital Foundation. All Tribute and Memorial gift amounts remain confidential and are acknowledged by the Foundation with a card sent to the person, or to the family of the person, in whose name the gift was given. The donor will receive a separate acknowledgement and statement to be used for tax purposes.
In-Kind
In-kind gifts that support our programs and services will be considered on an individual basis. Donors must provide any appraisal required.

All donars, regardless of size of gift, are listed in the permanent registry located in the North Valley Hospital Community Health Library. | |
