Marcus Duffey joins the North Valley Hospital Foundation Board of Directors
Up-and-coming prominent businessman, Marcus Duffey, has joined the North Valley Hospital Foundation Board of Directors.
Upon graduating Gonzaga University, Marcus became a partner and the general manager of Great Northern Brewing Company in Whitefish. Marcus became intrigued with the hospital during his volunteer efforts for the 2008 and 2009 MASH BASH. During that time, he observed the ability the staff has to reach out to the community and serve people with open arms as if they all were a family member. He also was taken by the passionate strength that stands behind the hospital’s mission.
“As a new member of the board, I hope to help build upon the established foundation by incorporating some new ideas that perpetuate the strong growth for many years to come” Marcus said.
The board is excited to welcome Marcus’ youth, passion and creativity. His ability to cleverly think outside the box will provide fresh ideas and enthusiasm to achieve future goals.
Marcus was born in Houston, Texas and grew up in Midland, Texas, and his wife, Audrey, is from Whitefish. They met while attending Gonzaga University. They now live in Whitefish.
The North Valley Hospital Foundation Board of Directors governs the philanthropic funds that are available from private donors to support North Valley Hospital. The members who complete the foundation board are dedicated volunteers who are an essential part in maintaining goals that enhance North Valley Hospital’s vision, mission and values.
