 Imagine a hospital stay where relaxation is part of your treatment. At North Valley Hospital, our certified massage therapists provide complementary 15-minute massages to all of our patients who stay with us and prior to surgeries. A therapist is available from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Research has shown that massage:
- Releases tension and pain in muscles
- Improves circulation
- Increases flexibility in the joints
- Reduces anxiety
- Reduces mental and physical fatigue
- Relieves stress
Our three massage therapists -- Johnny Ray Burchfield, Lisa Morrow and Gina Wade -- cater the massage to your needs and comfort zone. If you wish to extend your massage, you may purchase more time at the north end Outpatient Registration Desk or by calling Carrie at extension 3539. Gift certificates are available on-line through The Shop or by calling 863-3500 and asking for The Shop. Our massage therapists are always happy to answer any questions you may have about massage. | |
