| North Country Medical Clinic and North Valley Hospital announce the addition of Michelle Thompson, MD to the practice beginning September of 2011. Dr. Thompson comes to North Country Medical Clinic with special training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics providing a needed addition to the local community for children’s healthcare. Until her arrival in September, services will be provided by Miles Miller, PA-C, Dr. Rod Vaught and Dr. Linda Law in addition to a number of visiting specialists.
Dr. Thompson received her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 2007 and completed her residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the same location in 2011. She is certified in Basic, Advanced Cardiac and Pediatric Life Support. She also is certified as a neonatal resuscitation provider.
Beginning July 1, 2011, North Country Medical Clinic will begin a new after-hours service provided by St. Vincent’s Nurse First Line. Patients who would like to speak with a nurse outside of normal clinic hours may call the free service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Registered Nurses in Billings, MT will help callers any time of the day or night providing immediate help with medical questions and information. The Nurse First Line can be reached by dialing 1-800-762-8778.
