North Valley Hospital Foundation Receives $250,000 Gift
North Valley Hospital Foundation received a very generous $250,000 gift from the Robert Tucker Hayes Foundation. The donors expressed appreciation for the vision of the Hospital and Foundation Boards in planning for future viability and for the tremendous benefit NVH provides for all residents of the North Valley. “Our family is delighted to have the opportunity to contribute to such a worthy endeavor,” said Rick and Alicia Blake. They have chosen to name the emergency waiting room in the new hospital “Rick and Alicia Blake Family.”
“We sincerely appreciate all of the gifts we have received for the new hospital project. This leadership gift will have a huge impact on our capital campaign, A New Century - A New Way of Healthcare. We are very grateful for the Hayes family’s generosity and strong support for our new hospital,” said Carol Blake, Foundation Executive Director.
The North Valley Hospital Foundation is a non-profit corporation established in 1999 for the benefit of North Valley Hospital, and coordinates all fund development programs for the hospital. Currently the Foundation is in the silent, pre-public phase of a $6.3 million capital campaign to help finance the new hospital. To date $2.1 million has been raised. Those interested in making tax deductible contributions may contact North Valley Hospital Foundation at 863-3630. Plans are underway for a ground breaking event in late Spring 2005 for the replacement facility being built near the intersection of Montana Highway 40 and U.S. Highway 93. Construction will be completed Winter 2006.
