Glacier Maternity and Women’s Center, a division of North Valley Hospital, is pleased to welcome certified nurse midwife, Pam Parsons. Pam joins Jeanne Tremper, CNM, serving in the busy practice which offers obstetrics and a full spectrum of women’s gynecological health needs at four locations in the Flathead Valley and Eureka.
Pam graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona in 1993. She bring over 18 years of nursing experience in labor and delivery and in a busy prenatal and pediatric clinic. Pam also gained medical experience in positions as a community health nurse and a school nurse. She received her Master’s degree in Nursing and Certificate of Midwifery from Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing in 2011. Part of her clinical experience included a five- week clinical rotation in New Zealand where she attended births in the home setting, birth center and hospital.

About Glacier Maternity and Women’s Center:The Certified Nurse Midwives at Glacier Maternity and Women’s Center offer obstetrics and a full spectrum of women’s gynecological health needs at four locations in the Flathead Valley and Eureka. The clinic joined North Valley Hospital in November 2010 and works collaboratively with all of their patients to deliver a memorable experience. A Certified Nurse-Midwife is a Master’s level registered nurse who has additional education in women’s health care and midwifery. Glacier Maternity and Women’s Center provides prenatal care, birthing services, annual wellness exams, contraception and menopause services. In 2010, they delivered more than 250 babies at North Valley Hospital.
