We nationally recruit physicians and surgeons in various specialties, with education from medical schools such as Johns Hopkins University and Cleveland Clinic, to contract as hospitalists or accept as active staff with practices in our community. We have an incredibly high retention rate with our entire staff because of the team-oriented effort to provide the kind of care that was their reason for going into a healthcare profession.
Our unique patient-centered care approach has established a compassionate embrace on our community. We not only provide diagnoses, treatments, medication and 24-hour observation; we also provide the caring environment that is needed by patients to heal as quickly and healthy as possible. North Valley Hospital encourages loved ones to be with our patients. Our 24-hour visitation policy coupled with a daybed in each patient room that’s available for overnight stays allows patients and their guests comfort and ease while visiting.

Local artists’ work adorns the walls, volunteers bake cookies and bread in patient areas, musicians bring the joy of music to our halls, dogs and handlers provide bedside companionship, and our delicious freshly prepared meals can be catered to your tastes and special needs. In addition, North Valley Hospital has a health library open to the public from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm, where we encourage patients, guests and community to learn. We also encourage our patients to be proactive in their health and treatment by offering an open book policy on acquiring your own health records.
