Recognition for Your Gifts

Contributors will receive increasing opportunities for involvement and recognition as they progress through accumulative giving levels during their lifetime. The donor lists can be easily updated to correct recognition information or to recognize additional gifts.

It’s easy to give to North Valley Hospital Foundation. Simply decide how you want your gift to be used and the amount you wish to give. You can leave a legacy which honors the memory of loved ones, supports vital health programs and gives lasting support to your community.

Over the years, private contributions have enabled North Valley Hospital to grow into a dynamic community healthcare provider. The Foundation secures crucial funding that helps support the delivery of excellent care and services to a growing number of patients and families. It would be difficult to find a patient care area in North Valley Hospital that has not benefitted from donated funds.

Donor Wall

Cumulative gifts of $1,000 or more will have donor’s name engraved prominently on our recognition wall located in the mall corridor near the Meditation Room. The wall is updated annually. Your donor status continues to grow along with the total value of your gifts. The entire amount of a Pledge will be recognized the year you make your first payment.

Give in a loved one’s name - Memorials and Honorariums

Tribute gifts are made in memory of a loved one as a lasting memorial. A meaningful remembrance at a time of loss and sadness offers hope for the future. Individuals often include a note in obituary announcements directing contributions to North Valley Hospital Foundation. All Tribute and Memorial gift amounts remain confidential and are acknowledged by the Foundation with a card sent to the person, or to the family of the person, in whose name the gift was given. The donor will receive a separate acknowledgement and statement to be used for tax purposes.

Tribute Gifts – Gifts That Care

To remember – Your gift in memory of a loved one is a lasting memorial. At a time of loss and sadness, it is a way for you to show love and respect, and to offer hope for the future. Your memorial gift to the Foundation is a meaningful remembrance. You can invite others to give by including these words in the obituary notice: “In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to North Valley Hospital Foundation, 1600 Hospital Way, Whitefish, MT 59937.”

To honor – You can make a tribute gift to recognize a special occasion or accomplishment such as a birthday, marriage, graduation, or recovery from illness. You can express your thoughtfulness at holiday time, a wedding anniversary, or the birth of a child. These gifts may bestow an honor on a caring, compassionate physician or nurse, and employers could use them to recognize employees on special occasions.

Tribute Gift Acknowledgment

We will acknowledge each memorial or tribute gift with a card sent to the person, or to the family of the person, in whose name the gift was given. Gift amounts remain confidential. As the donor, you will receive a separate acknowledgment as all gifts to North Valley Hospital Foundation are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
