ClergySpiritual care is a key component of our Planetree philosophy of patient centered care. While North Valley Hospital is not affiliated with any particular faith, we do recognize and value the vital role of spirituality in healing the whole person.  We have a chaplain on staff who visits our patients to help meet their spiritual needs Monday through Friday.  A network of local clergy accommodating most faiths, are also available to patients through our 24-hour Clergy-on-Call service.

North Valley Hospital welcome local religious leaders and spiritual care givers to partner with us in providing comfort and support to patients and their families while they are in our care.  We have an open visitation policy for patients’ clergy and prayer partners and are thankful for the local ministers who participate in our Clergy-On-Call program through our Spiritual Care Department.  They continue to provide a needed and appreciated service.

Our Staff Chaplain, Jeny Covill, works closely with the local spiritual leaders through organizing and annual luncheon, the Clergy-On-Call rotation schedule, and by attending meetings with the Whitefish Ministerial Association, Columbia Falls ministers, and the Flathead Valley Multi-Faith Coalition.  She networks regularly with clergy, sharing and receiving information and resources relevant to community needs and spiritual care.
